A letter from the "Zodiac Killer"

It was a cold, summer night when you receive a letter from someone saying that you should keep you sisters,daughters and wives off the street coz' he'll gonna kill them.

The Zodiac killer is one of the greatest mystery cases of all times. He is the serial killer who terrorized San Francisco in the early 1960's and late 70's he used to send letters, weird ciphers and cryptic messages over the local newspaper and the police giving warnings and confessing about his killings.

"I like killing people because its so much fun"

His first victim was believed be a college student named Cheri Jo Bates, she was murdered outside her school library.At first, the killer grabbed her around the neck and he slashed her mouth and throat with a small knife.He kicked her in the head then stabbed her to death.

In 1968 he again attacked a young couple who parked in a local lovers lane. He shot David Faraday inside the car and her girlfriend, Betty Lou Jensen in the back five times outside their car.

In 1969 he murdered another couple named Mike Mageau and Darlene Frerrin in Valllejo. Mageau survived but her girlfriend died in the scene.Again, the killer writes coded messages and letters. Written in the letter is if they wouldn't publish the cipher in the newspaper he would kill again. He always put a strange symbol that would be he's calling name.

In September 27, 1969 he struck again killing a young couple in a remote area.He stabbed them repeatedly Bryan Hartnell survived but her girlfriend died two days later.The killer left a message on Hartnell's car door which included the dates of the earlier assaults and murders. The survivors described the killers as white male with short brown hair and thick rimmed glasses while during his attacks he wore a large hood.

In October he shot a taxi driver and two days later  he made a threat about killing schoolchildren.

Although there are numerous potential suspects, the mystery remains unsolved. Even the forensic technology could not identify the true man behind the Zodiac killings.
